🕯️ Day 5 – Release

📖 Scripture: "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved." – Psalm 55:22 (NKJV)

🔍 Exegetical Insight: "Cast" (hashlech) means to hurl or abandon completely. Even your burdens have purpose, but once complete, release them to make room for what He wants to fill you with.

🛡 Shield Reality: What you carry that God didn't assign will weigh down your lamp. The wise virgins carried oil, not unnecessary baggage. Release isn't loss—it's preparation for what He wants to fill you with. You can't carry both burden and oil effectively.

💡 Light Action: Name one burden you've been carrying that isn't yours to bear. Physically gesture releasing it as you pray: "I cast this on You, Lord. Sustain me with what You want me to carry instead."
