🕯 Day 7 – Recap & Reflect: Trimmed and Turning
📖 “The wise took oil in jars… and went in with Him.” – Matthew 25:4, 10
🔄 Weekly Reflection
This first week was a call to remember and return. We confronted the flickering of our flame. We heard the midnight cry. We trimmed the wick. We surrendered strange fire. And we came back to the only Source of oil that lasts.
This wasn’t about fixing everything. It wasn’t about arriving. It was about turning—again. Turning from borrowed fire. Turning from distraction. Turning from hurry. Turning back toward the secret place where the flame is real.
You’re not the same person you were seven days ago. Even if you feel the same, your direction has shifted. And in the Kingdom, direction is everything.
🧠Edifying Reminder
The wise virgins weren’t found ready because they were flawless. They were found ready because they carried oil. They had trimmed lamps, guarded flame, and a posture of preparation.
You’re being invited into that same wisdom. And the good news? It’s not too late to say yes.
You have heard the cry.
You have trimmed your lamp.
You have begun to carry oil again.
Now let this be the week you started to burn again.
✍ Reflection Prompts:
What oil did I lose… and what oil did I begin to reclaim this week?
Where is God calling me to keep trimming?
