📖 1 Corinthians 7:23 (NKJV)

“You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.”

🔍 Exegetical Insight: "Were bought" (ēgorasthēte) is aorist passive - a completed transaction done to you. "At a price" (timēs) refers to the blood of Christ. "Do not become slaves" (mē ginesthē douloi) is present imperative - stop allowing yourself to be enslaved. The cross purchased your freedom; don't surrender it to human systems or approval.
