He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
π Exegetical Insight: The Greek construction here is powerful - pistos ho kalΕn (faithful is the one calling). Paul puts "faithful" first for emphasis. The one who called you isn't just faithful in general - His faithfulness is tied directly to His calling. The "will do it" (poiΔsei) is future active indicative - a definitive promise, not a possibility. What He initiated, He will complete.
