📖 1 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

🔍 Exegetical Insight: "Without controversy" (homologoumenōs) means "by common confession" or "universally acknowledged." The "mystery of godliness" (mystērion tēs eusebeias) isn't something hidden but something revealed that produces reverent worship. The word mystērion in the New Testament typically refers to something once hidden but now revealed in Christ. Rivers flow from revealed mystery, not hidden knowledge.
