📖 Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🔍 Exegetical Insight: "Seek first" (zēteite prōton) uses present imperative—continuous seeking with priority ordering. "Kingdom of God" (tēn basileian tou theou) is the realm where God's will is supreme. "His righteousness" (tēn dikaiosynēn autou) refers to God's own righteous character, not our righteous behavior. "Shall be added" (prostethēsetai) is future passive—God does the adding, we do the seeking. Immanuel reality means the Kingdom isn't somewhere we go—it's where we live because God is with us.
