π₯ TRIFIRE SERIES - W5/DAY 2
πΉ DAY 2 β TUESDAY
π Proverbs 26:11 (NKJV)
As a dog returns to his own vomit, So a fool repeats his folly.
π Exegetical Insight: The Hebrew kesil (fool) isn't someone lacking intelligence but someone who rejects wisdom despite experience. "Returns" (shuv) is the same word used for repentanceβturning back. The graphic image emphasizes the repulsive nature of returning to what should be rejected. In prayer context, this warns against returning to doubt, anxiety, or self-effort after experiencing God's faithfulness. Persistent prayer moves forward, not backward to old patterns.
