📖 Proverbs 6:23(NKJV)

"For the commandment is a lamp, And the law a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life."

🔍 Exegetical Insight: The Hebrew ner (lamp) and or (light) work together - the lamp provides personal illumination while light provides general visibility. Tokhachot (reproofs) comes from yakach, meaning to correct, convince, or set right. The "way of life" (derekh chayyim) isn't just moral direction but the path that leads to abundant life. God's corrections aren't punishments but course corrections toward life.
