📖 2 John 1:6 (NKJV)

"This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it."

🔍 Exegetical Insight: "This is love" (hautē estin hē agapē) defines love by obedience, not emotion. "Walk according to" (peripatōmen kata) uses kata to mean "in alignment with" or "corresponding to." The commandment (entolē) isn't burden but instruction for life. "From the beginning" (ap' archēs) connects to the original design and intent - walking in love was the plan from creation.
