📖 Matthew 12:34 (NKJV)

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

🔍 Exegetical Insight: "Abundance" (perisseumatos) means overflow or surplus—what spills over when the container is full. "Heart" (kardias) refers to the center of thought, emotion, and will—the whole inner person. "Speaks" (lalei) is present active indicative—continuous speaking reveals continuous heart content. Persistent prayer both reveals and reshapes heart abundance. What overflows in prayer indicates what's filling your heart.
