📖 Isaiah 35:4 (NKJV)

Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you."

🔍 Exegetical Insight: "Fearful-hearted" (nimharei-lev) literally means "hasty of heart"—those whose hearts race with anxiety. "Be strong" (chizqu) is imperative plural—a command for corporate strengthening. "Will come" (yavo) is imperfect—God is coming, approaching, drawing near. "Recompense" (gemul) means what is deserved or due—God will settle all accounts and right all wrongs. Fruitfulness flows from confidence in God's coming justice, not fear of present injustice.
