🔥 TRIFIRE SERIES - W6/DAY 4
🔹 DAY 4 — THURSDAY
đź“– 2 Peter 2:19 (NKJV)
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.
🔍 Exegetical Insight: "Are slaves" (douleuousin) is present active indicative—they're currently enslaved while promising freedom to others. "Overcome" (hēttētai) means to be defeated or made inferior. "Brought into bondage" (dedoulōtai) is perfect passive—a completed state of enslavement. The principle: whatever masters you becomes your master. True fruitfulness requires freedom from hidden bondages that promise liberty but deliver slavery.
